I look for what situation health wise we are in or runs in the family. Then I chose what is best for us.

We always took the only insurance offered by my husbands work. You want to ask about deductibles- how much you must pay out each year before they pick up the tab. How much are co-pays for doctors visits then how much it is if you must go to the ER or a Specialist what their limit they will cover is.. what i cost out of pocket each month..
