3 :
I would guess asthma.
4 :
I suggest you take your child to a doctor ASAP. It could be nothing serious or it could be something serious. I pray it's nothing serious though, but take your child to the doctor just to make sure.
5 :
your 11 year old has Asthma my 11 year old sister is like that the doct told us she had asthma
6 :
possibly asthma. If he's been using a down quilt or pillow, you need to replace it with a non down material, because down material exacerbates and sometimes sets off the asthma attacks.
7 :
my 4 yr old has Asama and it sounds to me like it could be that go to the doctors and say u would like a Ventolin inhaler and she if that helps x x x x

Confusing Mental Health Case Involving CHILD CUSTEDY I'M the 16 Year old child PLEASE HELP I'M DESPERATE

Confusing Mental Health Case Involving CHILD CUSTEDY I'M the 16 Year old child PLEASE HELP I'M DESPERATE!
Ok my mom is a paranoid schizophrenic and had a relapse a few months ago and my parents are divorced with joint custedy and so my dad got really paranoid thinking my mom would kill me or something so he went and got TEMPORARY sole custedy and so my mom is better now and is on her meds and has a probation thing with the mental health place she's going to which means she has to go there for a year and when my mom went down to try to make a new hearing with my dad so she can see me again they said she couldn't and that the judge wouldn't change the custedy thing for a year and i found out that my mom has another case with a different court for her probation thing so my question is: IS THE REASON WHY MY MOM CAN'T MAKE A NEW HEARING BECAUSE SHE HAS TO GET THE PROBATION CASE OUT OF THE WAY FIRST EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CASES?? PLEASE I'M A DESPERATE 16 YEAR OLD GIRL AND MY MOM IS MY BEST FRIEND AND I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN 5 MONTHS AND I DON'T WANNA WAIT A WHOLE YEAR :( I'm not exactly sure why my mom was put on probation. She was really out of it at the time and I am allowed to talk to her on the phone and i asked her about it and she didn't really say anything. My 16th b-day was a few days ago and i asked my dad if i could see her just for a little bit and if he supervised and he said no and i really don't think my dad wants me to have supervised visitation even if the judge said it would be ok. It just really frusterates me that she's on her meds now and stable and i can't even see her because of all this stupid court crap

Yes the unsettled cases must be taken care of. There must have been major problems to make the custody order change. The court ruled under those cirumstances, your welfare was of utmost concern and being with your dad was the only option. Life can seem very unfair but her not dealing with her problem is what has you in this position. Sorry, I know ya miss her lots. You might ask to go visit her, or maybe a phone call or by letter.
2 :
What else did your mom do that caused her to be on probation? If it was related to physical abuse, drugs, theft, etc., the judge would think she would be a risk to your safety and not change the custody orders. But you should still have a few options here. By the time a child is 16, the courts usually take the child's wishes into consideration. Your mom might qualify for supervised visitation with you. A chaperone would come with you on your visit with her to make sure you are safe. If your mom doesn't have a order of protection against her (for you or your dad), there is no reason why you can't ask your dad to meet your mom at a restaurant and sit a few tables away from you and your mom, so you can talk with her. Did child protective services get involved in your case? If they did, it might complicate your case a little. But even kids that are removed from their homes and placed with foster parents can eventually get supervised visits with their birth parents. Also, please know that you may not know all of the facts. Your dad may be trying to protect you from certain details, to protect your feelings.
3 :
Sometimes best friends (and Mom's) get separated from you, for many different reasons. It sounds like some of these things are out of your control. Could you perhaps write a letter to the court asking that your Mom be granted supervised visits? If they won't agree to that, perhaps there is a way to communicate with your Mom even if you can't see her. Can you phone, or write letters, send gifts, make her a scrapbook? If you keep really busy, a year can go by faster. I think it is really nice that you are so close with your Mom. Also try having some conversations with your Dad without letting anger seep into things. That could be hard! Sorry I don't have any legal answers, but maybe someone else on here does. I imagine this is hard for your Mom too, so take some pictures of yourself for her if you can. Good luck!
4 :
Maybe show your dad what you have written so he might be able to know how you are feeling. If he knows how you are feeling he may understand how important your relationship with your mum is to you and with all the legal stuff leave that to your parents to sort out.I hope things work out for the best for you. Lots of luck.
5 :
i agree with the nurse i feel really bad for you maybe you can talk to your dad about visiting with her in a place that is in the open i no it it hard to stay with your dad and you love your mom i hope there is a way you can see her bc i bet she would like to see you
6 :
unfortunately in any mental health situation that has been taken to court and involves custody of a child the probation must be met with first so the court can determine whether or not she's stable enough to take care of you and not suffer another major relapse. I know it sucks, i've had kids that i've worked with go through it and it breaks my heart. Pray daily, write your mom letters and let her know you're there to support her no matter what. I hope all goes well. God Bless. Contact me if you need anything at all!

What will you do when a beaurocrat tells your elderly parent they are not worth health care and to go away and?
die under Obama's health care plan? What about your child who has terminal cancer that doesn't have a high "projected" chance of being cured and the beaurocrat says he is not worth the expense either?

Shoot him and see how fast he gets health care.
2 :
I'd say I'd move away... but that isn't true. There isn't better care elsewhere. Just more socialist systems that will tell me my loved ones are worth MY tax money.
3 :
Well you can't go to Canada, the UK, etc since their own socialistic healthcare has killed hundreds of their own people. Maybe we will take a trip to to the Caribbean and go to some voo-doo witchdoctor.
4 :
Cry for me Argentinaaaaa LMAO that's what I'll tell them. Then we all will have a good laugh and feel alllll better.
5 :
What do you do when some health insurance peon tells you that.*
6 :
I think you are confused, what you are describing is exactly what happens now, thanks to the greed of health insurance corporations.
7 :
Where does that happen? Because it doesnt happen in countries with UHC
8 :
A bureaucrat is far more likely to treat an individual than someone who has to make a profit for their shareholders. Why does the AMA quiver in fear over the PUBLIC OPTION? Is it because taking the profit margin out of medicine means that more people can get care for the same amount of money? The Armed Forces have a kind of socialized medicine; would you say that they get inferior coverage? I don't mind you not using your spell checker, even though Yahoo provides one. I do mind you glossing over the fact that for-profit health plans dump people out of coverage much more often than socialized medicine. And that is a fact.

I hope you had time to listen to the question and answer town hall meeting on ABC tonight---it was extended to be on Nightline as well. The negative tone of your questions suggests that you missed seeing it, though. You have to listen carefully to the points he makes or you will keep on suggesting that "bureaucrats" (I assume you are referring to the proposed "public plan" President Obama wants to have included in the final health care reform bill) will somehow diminish patient care or quality of care. There is a chance you are just a lobbyist for the health care industry eager to preserve the unrestricted (unregulated) candy trough for your piggish multi-billion dollar corporations' spoiled-brat executives and are trying to plant propaganda to scare people. This question was actually addressed in the Town Hall meeting tonight. A woman who's mother is still alive and functioning at age 105 needed a pacemaker at age 99, and one doctor did not want her to have this procedure; however, her personal physician recommended it because of her spunk---he thought the risk was worth it, but her private insurance would not pay for the procedure. Medicare did pay---a public option that the insurance companies are against having so they can keep on raising premiums 110x cost-of-living rates, with no checks and balances, and then deny payment due to profit margins instead of patient need. Your argument is false, sir or ma'am. The bureaucrats about which you speak are in the private for-profit insurance companies or in the administration side of major hospitals. Don't be fooled, people---this is propaganda. Did you know that pharmaceutical lobbyists on K Street in Washington D.C. outnumber our elected representatives 4.5 to 1? Wonder which of our representatives have stock in health-care related companies? Which representatives meet with the lobbyists, and what are they given to induce them to block health care reform? These are the real questions the public needs to know. My guess is lobbyists and their stooges are going to be coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches, trying to defeat any attempt to re-regulate or reform their respective corporations/industries even if the proposed changes are good for Americans. They are like a hungry cat who growls ferociously while gobbling down the food on their plate, but scratching anyone who even tries to eat food off any other plate---they want it ALL, the greedy villains.

This is why I want to just keep things the way they are. Anyone who does not believe it going to be bad needs to go stand behind the illegal aliens in the emergency room line.

Can I reimburse myself health insurance costs from my company

Can I reimburse myself health insurance costs from my company?
We used to have individual health insurance, and I would pay for it out of my own company (an S Corp). When we got insurance through my husband's employer, I stopped reimbursing myself. He is paid for by the company, and then it costs extra to add myself and our child. I was just going to deduct health insurance premiums on our Sch A, but we don't have enough other medical expenses to meet the limit. Is it ligit to go ahead and reimburse myself the amount that it cost for the health insurance? Then it would be a business expense. Thanks.

How will the new Health Care Bill effect those that pay child support

How will the new Health Care Bill effect those that pay child support?
For example my ex has my son covered under her employers health care plan which technically I pay for since I have been ordered to pay for it on top of child support but if come January her employers rates go up will I be forced to pay more if she petitions my states (TX) AG for an increase because of the higher cost she wil be forced to pay? Has this issue been addressed by anyone or is there a section in the HC Bill that talks about this?

Your child's health insurance is covered by his mother's employer. You get a discount. The break you get now is only good as long as your wife remain employed. If your ex loses her job, you are the one who will be responsible to find health insurance for your son. And yes, as your support order states, that will be in addition to the child support you already pay. Quit whining!!
2 :
Rates will not go up in Jan by more than a normal annual increase. At least mine and my friends at different companies didn't. Most of the major health care changes don't go into effect until 2014. You'll have to pay those increases.
3 :
Welcome to the 'insane Obama world'.........looks like you will have to pay more.......

What can I do about others' unruly children at my health club & church

What can I do about others' unruly children at my health club & church?
No one notices or takes charge of misbehaving kids who have spoiled my workouts and worship. Twice when I've seen girls (ages 4 - 8) biting & slapping other kids I have intervened but I don't want to get involved. Talks with management have proven useless. Any suggestions?

get a supervisor to watch them and if they are bad have the supervisor report them to the parents.
2 :
At the gym, you could contact management. At church, you could privately discuss your concerns with the church leaders. You may not be the only one who is bugged by the unruly kids, so be tactful, but don't be afraid to speak up. Your time is every bit as valuable as anyone else's.

When do children have to get their own health insurance

When do children have to get their own health insurance?
I'm quite curious about the American health care system and was wondering if someone could tell me what do children do? Can they go on their parent's insurance? Do most people who attend college have health care insurance?

As long as children are in college, they are usually covered by their parent's insurance (if they have any). Different states have different rules about how old a child, not in college, can stay on their parents' policy. Prior to college, all children are, typically, covered under their parents' insurance. I don't have statistics at hand, but most (i.e., more than half) of our Nation's college students have health care insurance, almost all of whom are under their parents' policies.
2 :
Children are usually covered by their parent's policy (IF the employee pays the extra premium to cover their dependents unless their employer covers the whole family, which is very rare these days) until they either graduate high school or college in some cases - it depends on the insurance company and/or the employer.
