cigarette odor on clothes and an asthmatic child

cigarette odor on clothes and an asthmatic child?
Why don't people get that the odor of cigarettes on their clothes DO cause health problems, particularly on children with asthma? Do you have and suggestion to get through to these people? Links would be great.

Can I become a Child Life Specialist with a BA in Behavioral Health or Family Studies

Can I become a Child Life Specialist with a BA in Behavioral Health or Family Studies?
I want to become a Child Life Specialist. I know there's an internship and then an exam you have to pass after you have your BA. I know a BA in Psychology is a good way to go, but one of the Universities I'm looking at doesn't have a Psych program, however it does offer a Behavioral Health BA and a BA in Family Studies. Would either of these work? I don't want to go through the program and then find out I can't get accepted into the internship or find a job.

You should check out Child Life Council, they have schools that already offer organized Child Life programs that make it easier to navigate into a career as a CCLS. Any degrees centered around family and child studies, child dev, counseling, etc.will make it possible for you to enter into the field. Most internships want you to be affiliated with a school that has a Child Life program already in place or is at least familiar with the field, usually to make sure you have an academic advisor to see you through the internship. Behavioral Health is specifically designed for people interested in working with people who have behavioral problems...this is definately not related to Child Life. CCLS's do not have the certificate or the license to work in a mental health setting. However, you can work as a Caseworker or a Behavioral Assistant if you decided to go into a different modality working with children and families ( I have done this as well and it is a good field too). But check out ChildLife.org, that is the Child Life Council they have schools to recommend all over the US that offer students Child Life programs to invest in.

Try this, get ahold of a Shriners hospital, they are the most wonderful people around. That's what they are there for. My father has been a Shriner for almost as long as I have been alive(29). They will go out of their way for ANYONE!!!! especially a child. Do a search for shriners hospitals and they will help you research a doctor or find funding for you. I will be thinking of you and your precious angel, good luck to you.

child with mental health issues any ideas

child with mental health issues any ideas?
my son has serious issues he has since he was 2 but is progressively getting worse I am having a hard time getting psych appointment it is like a year wait then more .. the doctors threw some things out there when he was 3 .. ADHD OCD anxiety . Aspergers, Early onset Bipolar, but wouldn't make a formal diagnosis till he was 5 now he is almost 6 still waiting ... I am going to walk in to Sick kids emerge next week and ask to see emerge psychiatrist because this cannot wait a year.. this is how he is VERY hyper.. moves non stop climbs, jumps, fidgets.. Very loud Even talking he is very very loud and he does not stop talking makes random noises .. he will sit there and make these random clicking noises for hours and will not stop cannot focus he cannot sit still and focus on an activity not even video games the only thing he can focus on is trains and buses he can talk about trains and buses for hours he has train tracks he puts together and takes apart repetitively. without playing with the actual train he has named the buses after Thomas the tank engine ( the show he obsesses about) he also knows every single bus route and bus off by heart ( even ones we barely take) he can tell you anything about our city's bus system. he is very aggressive anything can set him off even silly things he hit kicks punches .. he will even try and find objects to hit you with when he is in trouble or corrected on a behavior he doesn't seem to understand what he is doing is wrong no matter how you tell him or how many ways you tell him he just doesn't get it for example he knows colouring on the wall is wrong he can lose his crayons for a week then as soon as he gets them back he does it again ( thats just an example) like he just doesn't grasp the concept. he has NO concept of personal space including talking to strangers again no matter how many times we tell him its unsafe and explain it to him he doesn't get it .he is very touchy with people he knows and doesn't understand when he is too close or when people have had enough touching he repeats words over and over again like the word chicken he would say it over and over again he has an imaginary friend ( yes I know its normal) BUT he chooses to play with his imaginary friend he will go to random people ( or children) and interrupt conversations and keep talking to them despite being told enough. he does not grasp the concept of a joke or sarcasm (example he cut his foot open and to make light of the situation my husband pretended to cut his foot off he used strawberry jam and was hopping around and such it was funny and most kids ( yes ones that I know would have laughed and had been distracted) but he became very distraught over the situation there is more but thats the basics thanks LOL thats funny.. although I kind of understand and it isn't a vent and according to everyone I have exceptional parenting skills, and are patient no I do not treat my child as he is bad.. for example if he is being very violent and has to be restrained once he is calm it is over he does not get a consequence on top of that..once a child reaches that level they are unable to control themselves.. there for when he is calm we simply discuss what made him act like that. I make sure stuff like feelings and issues are always talked about I never call bad.. children are not bad .. behavior may be inappropriate but a child themselves are not.. I am a developmental service worker by education so I am well aware of how he should be treated. I am not so much concerned about my stress as I am his .. he has even told me that it makes him sad when he acts like that . it is something he has no control over I would also like to point out that he gets a lot of positive reinforcement I would also like to point out I never said my child was going to be medicated nor does anyone say I don't have the skills to help my child.. but a diagnosis would be fantastic because then we have something to go on we are already very strict with his diet

Are you treating your child like he is bad... like he is different? If you are treating him like his symptoms are bad you are teaching him that he is a bad child. I don't want to say you are a Hypocondriac that has pushed her issue of anxiety onto her child, but your vent seems more like an attempt to prove that he is sick than a attempt for advice as to what to do with your child to make life easier. Is your child in 1st grade yet? 6 is the starting point. You need to get your child into a special assistance school that can help your child manuver successfully through society and gain the education and tools he needs. They will also assist and guide you as to what you should be doing. The diagnosis won't give you anything. The doctor could tell you any of the mental disorders in your list, but the only tool they could offer is medicine and therapy. You need social tools not medical terms. You need help to help him.
3 :
I hear you. It's frustrating, confusing, exhausting for you and him too. You are on the right track by not giving up. I have worked with many children with severe issues and you need all the support you can get, for him and for you too. Find a counsellor you can talk to, your pastor, close friends, agencies that support families, web sites, whatever support you can find. You will find a listening ear, current information, people struggling with similar concerns. Good luck.
4 :
Based on what info you have given, its apparent that your child has a form of Attention Deficit Disorder and Severe Autism, he will need lots of professional help, and will never be normal, I had a neighbors kid that is the same way, and needed medication, he has gotten a little better than he was originally. If you have the funding, you might want to consult a alternative health doctor, or an allergist, some kids behavior is associated with food allergies, and they have great personality changes once there diet is changed. You never know sometimes children have been misdiagnosed due to food allergies.

What is the best country to have my child born

What is the best country to have my child born?
I am a US citizen and my wife is from the Philippines. We are considering travel (other than the Philippines which is where we live) to another country for the birth of our child. We would like a country where the health care is safe, affordable for non-citizens, and where the child gets citizenship automatically thanks to the birth. We are considering England and Australia, where else should we consider? We have 6 months before the birth. Thank you.

What's wrong with the U.S?
4 :
Canada So the child will be American and Canadian and have the best of both worlds health care!
5 :
Whatever you do, avoid America. lol
6 :
the best thing is to have your kid here trust me on this 1 things will get better
7 :
Uhhhm....America. Where else? J/k...just find a qualified doctor that YOU trust. Good luck with the baby.
8 :
if you are a us citizen youre baby and wife would be considered under your insurance and would be completely covered by your healthcare, but if you dont have us healthcare austrailia is cheaper for traveling to, but england has more established services
9 :
Anywhere where the healthcare is good. I'd say either stay in the U.S.A. until the baby is born, then move, or have it in England. There are many other counties in Europe that are up-to-date on the latest healthcare. Go to a website that shows comparisons on countries in Europe and they're "ratings", so to say, on medical care. Google it, that's what I'd do.
10 :
The United States is the best option for the birth of the child. That way, the child has automatic citizenship. But then again, Cuba has some of the best medical treatment and healthcare there. Just make sure you don't go to Cuba from the United States. :). VIVA LA RAZA!
11 :
Australia are you only going there for the birth of the child to get health care...if you are a US citizen, why don't you move back to US and have child in US. Australia is good country and pretty good health-care benefits, but you will still have to pay for them. is your wife a US citizen????? if not, why not move to US and get her to become a citizen......she will have to become a citizen to get good health-care in any country, permanent health-care for her and the child...
12 :
Canada, Spain, Ireland. In the European Union you will receive also 2500 euros plus all the medical attention.
13 :
australia. where im from :)
14 :
The Us soyou don't have to worry about 3 countries
15 :
Germany! Then the child would get universal healthcare and he/she would get to go to college for free in Germany! Actually though, Denmark is the best! Its like Germany only even better!
16 :
France.
17 :
I would go somewhere that has great medical experience and find a doc that you guys really like and are comfortable with. Or even some place you and ur wife enjoy going to, then it can be a place to remember and go back to, just to get away from everyhting, and your child will feel part of that C :
18 :
i will say America becausee the child will become a citizen and the health is safe for sure plus i think you would get more help just becaus the baby will be a citizen after he or she is Bron
19 :
Mexico
20 :
Neither England nor Australia gives automatic citizenship thanks to birth! Research what you want to do a little better. Being a US citizen and a Philippine citizen may make him ineligible for a third citizenship in some countries, in other countries he may have to give up one citizenship or both at the age of majority (18 in most countries), etc.
21 :
Normally ladies should go to her mother for delivery of child. Your mother will be best assistant for you. My wife is ready to all for her daughter.
22 :
I think that you and your wife should consider the U.S. though you may be from another but from experience those that come from another country tend to receive affordable health care and it you need a stat consider Idaho it's small and the people there are friendly
23 :
Australia and UK won't let you get citizenship via birth anymore. The parents need to hold Australian/UK Citizenship (respectively) or Permanent Residence for the child to automatically be born Australian/British. If not, the parents can have the headache of going to the embassy and filling out the paperwork because the child will usually be legally stateless until the parents file for American Born Abroad etc. The UK health system is rubbish anyway. Australia is okay but there's heaps of waiting lists. France won't allow citizenship via birth but they have excellent health care (they're a bit anti-American though). Canada and USA are the only semi-decent countries that allow citizenship via birth. First link goes to Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) regarding Australian citizenship for those born there and the second goes to the Home Office in the UK regarding the UK equivelent.
24 :
Your child will have US citizenship automatically, so ignore all the crap answers that tout that as an advantage of being born in the US. The US is one of very few countries without free healthcare. The freeest your child can be is to have EU and US citizenship, so I would definately look at an EU country. Just be wary of the standards in England (UK) because they are not up to scratch. Child will survive, but it may not be the best experience for the mother. Some countries don't offer automatic citizenship through birth, if parents are not citizens. Last I heard Ireland did not have this restriction, so maybe it's a good choice.
25 :
i reckon China will be the best place for birth of your baby.
26 :
Canada, America doesn't have good healthcare.
27 :
Try Scandinavian countries. They have human value from the birth, it looks to me the best intelligent countries on earth. In USA, it is possible for live mummification, like Katrina effected people.

I look for what situation health wise we are in or runs in the family. Then I chose what is best for us.
2 :
We always took the only insurance offered by my husbands work. You want to ask about deductibles- how much you must pay out each year before they pick up the tab. How much are co-pays for doctors visits then how much it is if you must go to the ER or a Specialist what their limit they will cover is.. what i cost out of pocket each month..
3 :
You do not choose the best. You choose whichever you can get. You do not qualify for all of the health insurance options that are available to every other person. The first thing to consider is that you need something that is available in your state. On average, this is eliminate approximately 97% of the options (because most options are for only one state, and there are 50 states, so only 2% of those options are available in each state).

Confusing Mental Health Case Involving CHILD CUSTEDY I'M the 16 Year old child PLEASE HELP I'M DESPERATE

Confusing Mental Health Case Involving CHILD CUSTEDY I'M the 16 Year old child PLEASE HELP I'M DESPERATE!
Ok my mom is a paranoid schizophrenic and had a relapse a few months ago and my parents are divorced with joint custedy and so my dad got really paranoid thinking my mom would kill me or something so he went and got TEMPORARY sole custedy and so my mom is better now and is on her meds and has a probation thing with the mental health place she's going to which means she has to go there for a year and when my mom went down to try to make a new hearing with my dad so she can see me again they said she couldn't and that the judge wouldn't change the custedy thing for a year and i found out that my mom has another case with a different court for her probation thing so my question is: IS THE REASON WHY MY MOM CAN'T MAKE A NEW HEARING BECAUSE SHE HAS TO GET THE PROBATION CASE OUT OF THE WAY FIRST EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CASES?? PLEASE I'M A DESPERATE 16 YEAR OLD GIRL AND MY MOM IS MY BEST FRIEND AND I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN 5 MONTHS AND I DON'T WANNA WAIT A WHOLE YEAR :( I'm not exactly sure why my mom was put on probation. She was really out of it at the time and I am allowed to talk to her on the phone and i asked her about it and she didn't really say anything. My 16th b-day was a few days ago and i asked my dad if i could see her just for a little bit and if he supervised and he said no and i really don't think my dad wants me to have supervised visitation even if the judge said it would be ok. It just really frusterates me that she's on her meds now and stable and i can't even see her because of all this stupid court crap

1 :
Yes the unsettled cases must be taken care of. There must have been major problems to make the custody order change. The court ruled under those cirumstances, your welfare was of utmost concern and being with your dad was the only option. Life can seem very unfair but her not dealing with her problem is what has you in this position. Sorry, I know ya miss her lots. You might ask to go visit her, or maybe a phone call or by letter.
2 :
What else did your mom do that caused her to be on probation? If it was related to physical abuse, drugs, theft, etc., the judge would think she would be a risk to your safety and not change the custody orders. But you should still have a few options here. By the time a child is 16, the courts usually take the child's wishes into consideration. Your mom might qualify for supervised visitation with you. A chaperone would come with you on your visit with her to make sure you are safe. If your mom doesn't have a order of protection against her (for you or your dad), there is no reason why you can't ask your dad to meet your mom at a restaurant and sit a few tables away from you and your mom, so you can talk with her. Did child protective services get involved in your case? If they did, it might complicate your case a little. But even kids that are removed from their homes and placed with foster parents can eventually get supervised visits with their birth parents. Also, please know that you may not know all of the facts. Your dad may be trying to protect you from certain details, to protect your feelings.
3 :
Sometimes best friends (and Mom's) get separated from you, for many different reasons. It sounds like some of these things are out of your control. Could you perhaps write a letter to the court asking that your Mom be granted supervised visits? If they won't agree to that, perhaps there is a way to communicate with your Mom even if you can't see her. Can you phone, or write letters, send gifts, make her a scrapbook? If you keep really busy, a year can go by faster. I think it is really nice that you are so close with your Mom. Also try having some conversations with your Dad without letting anger seep into things. That could be hard! Sorry I don't have any legal answers, but maybe someone else on here does. I imagine this is hard for your Mom too, so take some pictures of yourself for her if you can. Good luck!
4 :
Maybe show your dad what you have written so he might be able to know how you are feeling. If he knows how you are feeling he may understand how important your relationship with your mum is to you and with all the legal stuff leave that to your parents to sort out.I hope things work out for the best for you. Lots of luck.
5 :
i agree with the nurse i feel really bad for you maybe you can talk to your dad about visiting with her in a place that is in the open i no it it hard to stay with your dad and you love your mom i hope there is a way you can see her bc i bet she would like to see you
6 :
unfortunately in any mental health situation that has been taken to court and involves custody of a child the probation must be met with first so the court can determine whether or not she's stable enough to take care of you and not suffer another major relapse. I know it sucks, i've had kids that i've worked with go through it and it breaks my heart. Pray daily, write your mom letters and let her know you're there to support her no matter what. I hope all goes well. God Bless. Contact me if you need anything at all!

I think you are confused, what you are describing is exactly what happens now, thanks to the greed of health insurance corporations.
7 :
Where does that happen? Because it doesnt happen in countries with UHC
8 :
A bureaucrat is far more likely to treat an individual than someone who has to make a profit for their shareholders. Why does the AMA quiver in fear over the PUBLIC OPTION? Is it because taking the profit margin out of medicine means that more people can get care for the same amount of money? The Armed Forces have a kind of socialized medicine; would you say that they get inferior coverage? I don't mind you not using your spell checker, even though Yahoo provides one. I do mind you glossing over the fact that for-profit health plans dump people out of coverage much more often than socialized medicine. And that is a fact.
9 :
I hope you had time to listen to the question and answer town hall meeting on ABC tonight---it was extended to be on Nightline as well. The negative tone of your questions suggests that you missed seeing it, though. You have to listen carefully to the points he makes or you will keep on suggesting that "bureaucrats" (I assume you are referring to the proposed "public plan" President Obama wants to have included in the final health care reform bill) will somehow diminish patient care or quality of care. There is a chance you are just a lobbyist for the health care industry eager to preserve the unrestricted (unregulated) candy trough for your piggish multi-billion dollar corporations' spoiled-brat executives and are trying to plant propaganda to scare people. This question was actually addressed in the Town Hall meeting tonight. A woman who's mother is still alive and functioning at age 105 needed a pacemaker at age 99, and one doctor did not want her to have this procedure; however, her personal physician recommended it because of her spunk---he thought the risk was worth it, but her private insurance would not pay for the procedure. Medicare did pay---a public option that the insurance companies are against having so they can keep on raising premiums 110x cost-of-living rates, with no checks and balances, and then deny payment due to profit margins instead of patient need. Your argument is false, sir or ma'am. The bureaucrats about which you speak are in the private for-profit insurance companies or in the administration side of major hospitals. Don't be fooled, people---this is propaganda. Did you know that pharmaceutical lobbyists on K Street in Washington D.C. outnumber our elected representatives 4.5 to 1? Wonder which of our representatives have stock in health-care related companies? Which representatives meet with the lobbyists, and what are they given to induce them to block health care reform? These are the real questions the public needs to know. My guess is lobbyists and their stooges are going to be coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches, trying to defeat any attempt to re-regulate or reform their respective corporations/industries even if the proposed changes are good for Americans. They are like a hungry cat who growls ferociously while gobbling down the food on their plate, but scratching anyone who even tries to eat food off any other plate---they want it ALL, the greedy villains.
10 :
This is why I want to just keep things the way they are. Anyone who does not believe it going to be bad needs to go stand behind the illegal aliens in the emergency room line.

Can I reimburse myself health insurance costs from my company

Can I reimburse myself health insurance costs from my company?
We used to have individual health insurance, and I would pay for it out of my own company (an S Corp). When we got insurance through my husband's employer, I stopped reimbursing myself. He is paid for by the company, and then it costs extra to add myself and our child. I was just going to deduct health insurance premiums on our Sch A, but we don't have enough other medical expenses to meet the limit. Is it ligit to go ahead and reimburse myself the amount that it cost for the health insurance? Then it would be a business expense. Thanks.

How will the new Health Care Bill effect those that pay child support

How will the new Health Care Bill effect those that pay child support?
For example my ex has my son covered under her employers health care plan which technically I pay for since I have been ordered to pay for it on top of child support but if come January her employers rates go up will I be forced to pay more if she petitions my states (TX) AG for an increase because of the higher cost she wil be forced to pay? Has this issue been addressed by anyone or is there a section in the HC Bill that talks about this?

Your child's health insurance is covered by his mother's employer. You get a discount. The break you get now is only good as long as your wife remain employed. If your ex loses her job, you are the one who will be responsible to find health insurance for your son. And yes, as your support order states, that will be in addition to the child support you already pay. Quit whining!!
2 :
Rates will not go up in Jan by more than a normal annual increase. At least mine and my friends at different companies didn't. Most of the major health care changes don't go into effect until 2014. You'll have to pay those increases.

Welcome to the 'insane Obama world'.........looks like you will have to pay more.......

At the gym, you could contact management. At church, you could privately discuss your concerns with the church leaders. You may not be the only one who is bugged by the unruly kids, so be tactful, but don't be afraid to speak up. Your time is every bit as valuable as anyone else's.

When do children have to get their own health insurance

When do children have to get their own health insurance?
I'm quite curious about the American health care system and was wondering if someone could tell me what do children do? Can they go on their parent's insurance? Do most people who attend college have health care insurance?
Other - General Health Care - 2 Answers

Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
As long as children are in college, they are usually covered by their parent's insurance (if they have any). Different states have different rules about how old a child, not in college, can stay on their parents' policy. Prior to college, all children are, typically, covered under their parents' insurance. I don't have statistics at hand, but most (i.e., more than half) of our Nation's college students have health care insurance, almost all of whom are under their parents' policies.
2 :
Children are usually covered by their parent's policy (IF the employee pays the extra premium to cover their dependents unless their employer covers the whole family, which is very rare these days) until they either graduate high school or college in some cases - it depends on the insurance company and/or the employer.

not get disappointed keep faith in god
2 :
God answers prayers when they are most needed not for self pleasures..
3 :
This is a good explanation of why: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jk6ILZAaAMI
4 :
You seek God with all of your heart because you have nothing left to lose. You give 100% to Christ and let the Lord direct your path. Trust him and do his will. Make sure your heart is right with God #1.
5 :
You have to look at what you do have and be grateful for that. TRy tolearn to live a simple life and NOT keep wanting what is not there. Happiness does not come from external stuff. As far as children go... I am sorry it has not happened yet. I hope that you will be given this gift soon. Check it out with a doctor.
6 :
. I can personally tell you that when my prayers for deliverance from a condition of extreme pain, that I had for two years, weren't answerd as I asked, it made me tougher. I was always a "softie" who let people walk on me. I don't allow anyone to walk on me anymore. God knows what we need, and what will truly work for our good, more than we do. James 1:2,3 .
7 :
First, I pray that I can be of some use to you in this difficult struggle. I don't know which religion you are? This is a personal opinion here, because that's usually all we have, OK? I don't think this is a great time to have children. The world has so many people in it. And, if you find out from other friends, and associates, and family, and see how well it all turned out, having children, you might feel differently. I think the world is so uncertain, even unstable that I'd be leery of such an undertaking. You can have a very good marriage and be helpful to others. Not everyone likes being a mother, say business types of people, or very creative types who say stay up late at night being creative. Not knowing your religion, if it's Christian, I hesitate to say anything about the bible. I would say meeting and talking to others in our own group and getting their ideas might be helpful, if this is possible. I feel very badly that there is so much pain here.
8 :
I know this might sound like I'm not sympathizing, but I promise you that I do feel for you and want to help. However, Jesus said, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). If you are a Christian, suffering is a part of your calling. But Romans 8:17 reminds us "that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." And, if you read further down in that chapter, you are assured that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" (verse 28). God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Just keep trusting Him, brother, and seek after Him in all that you do. Everything He does is for your best if you are His child, even though it seems horrible to you now. I'll be praying for you.
9 :
I feel sorry for you but have faith sometimes God knows what is best for us. my story is even worst at 45 years of age i stood with only US2 dollars in my bank account lost my dad my brother my wife left with my kids lost my job my house my car my friends and was also imprisoned at the lowest time in my life and this happen within 2 yrs. but thank God for standing by my side. If you have faith so shall your powers be. from the hidden words O SON OF BEING If poverty overtake thee be not sad; for in time the Lord of wealth shall visit thee. Fear ye not abasement, for glory shall one day rest on thee. O SON OF MAN! Thou art My dominion and My dominion perisheth not; wherefore fearest thou thy perishing? Thou art My light and My light shall never be extinguished; why dost thou dread extinction? Thou art My glory and My glory fadeth not; thou art My robe and My robe shall never be outworn. Abide then in thy love for Me, that thou mayest find Me in the realm of glory. O SON OF SPIRIT Ask not of Me that which We desire not for thee, then be content with what We have ordained for thy sake, for this is that profiteth thee, If therewith thou dost content thyself. O SON OF PASSION Cleanse thyself from the defilement of riches and in perfect peace advance inot the realm of poverty; that from the well-spring of detachment thou mayest quaff the wine of imortal life. God will answer the prayers of his servants if they are indeed urgent. For an easier understanding I will give you in examples when God answers and doesn̢۪t answer prayers. There are 5 reasons just for your understanding . 1. He answers your prayers out of His Bounty (Bounty means that it is not of your deserving but yet God answers your prayer ) 2.The Second is when your prayers deserved to be answered.(This is because of the good deeds you have done in constancy being obedient and in compliance to His Laws.) 3.He doesn̢۪t answer your prayers is that it is not time yet for God in His infinite Wisdom knows you.( You have not proved yourself worthy of his Bestowals there is still time for you to change and do things worthy in His Cause otherwise you will suffer more.) 4.The other time God doesn̢۪t answer is not that you are not good. He knows you have followed His laws and have been obedient. But He is the All Knowing ,The All Wise He knows that if He answered your pray it will cause you more harm than good. 5.then there are times Unasked He fulfills your wishes that is because you have reached such a stage that you have attuned yourself to the Will of God̢۪s and do what benefits mankind more than yourself. If you what to find out more read the book on Light of Guidance by Helen Bessett Horaby page 602 from point 2040 to point 2050. Also Closer than the Life Vein by Henry A. Weil you can get these books from the Bahai Center near you

A man gets caught in a flood. He climbs to the roof and huddles there praying to god for deliverance. A log floats by as he is praying and he keeps on. Then a boat comes along and the waves them off saying I am praying to god for deliverance. Finlay a rescue helicopter comes along and drops down a ladder which he yells up to the pilot he has prayed to God who will soon deliver him. The house collapses and the man looks to heaven as he is drowning. "God why did you not deliver me?" "I sent you a log, a boat, and a helicopter" This joke illustrates a serious truth. We often over look the mundane help so present. Is it we are looking for nothing less than a miraculous event to be our salvation? If you read the sermon on the mount Matt 5-7 you will see that a Christian's life is not a blessed little bubble of contentment. But happiness comes with doing the things we are taught. Through integrity and endurance through the trials that challenge our resolve to be faithful. Finlay quite a few of the psalms that where written by Asaph voiced the same as you. Read a few and see the conclusion he reached.
11 :
You Stand and you keep moving !!!First of all God sent his beloved son to help us walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death not to camp out. So in essence you have to decide why you don't see life worth living anymore and want to leave before your work is done. Trust me sooner or later we all are going to face death we each have our work to do we are here for a specfic reason and if you are not here to hold up your end you might be helping the other side win. If you check yourself out early. Don't give up the prize without a fight and trust me you will die battling for it eveyday the other guy knows how preciuos it is just by his attacks he trying to take it away from you just remain faithful true to yourself and God. Yes, the fight is challenging. Just stick it out it could change your world a least your part of it. The stronger your faith the stronger you will be attacked from the other side be happy and clap your hands laugh and sing, When our eyes get clouded with "want" it is hard not to ask God why not me? And brood and sulk these are invitations for a visit from the other team. If he blinds us it is hard for us to see what the right thing to do is. The grass may not be greener on the other side, When we see others enjoying their fruit but we don't know what store they bought their fruit from and if God did give it to them, don't you believe you will get yours? I do!!! If you do well won't you be accepted?, Don't let your confidence fall, for the other team will be right at your door ready to eat you alive. Release it all and say to the world "you have nothing I want" You sound like you are about to abandon ship and go to the other side for some of that fruit. Please don't do it! God has his own timing and it could be any second now, and I feel like it is very soon that is why you are being pressured so much from the other side. Your blessings are coming through, don't give up now Fight! You have come this far. Fight you know God will come through for you Fight. Don't miss blessings because you are looking for it to come in the way you want it to come, being blinded by the way you think it should look. Just like when Jesus came to town looking poor, too poor to be a King but he turned out to be so Fight. If you see your life not worth living anymore then you are placing a material value on what God gave us as a gift, it is priceless and not for dale at any price. He redeemed us with no money but with his love for us. God is love and I know he loves you and I know he knows you are weary and tired and weak and that is why jesus says give your burdens to me and he will give you joy abundantly but you have got to hold on for him, for all of us, we will help you to stand. This is my prayer Lord tonight and Thank you.

is it legal to cover a minor under two different health insurances

is it legal to cover a minor under two different health insurances?
Can a mother and a father cover a child under both of their employers' health insurance plans? Someone told me that this was illegal?
Insurance - 5 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
Why would it be illegal? Lets suppose that a married couple was divorced and the child spent 6 months with one parent then six months with the other, and they lived in different states. (shared custody) Would you want to fly a child to another state to receive medical treatment?
2 :
The coverages are coordinated between the two companies. One policy is primary the other policy is secondary. You don't collect double so it is not illegal...
3 :
It is not illegal, but there will probably be some dispute as to which is the primary insurer. You should get that cleared up (may be specified in state law in your state). What would be illegal would be if, for instance, the mother's insurance paid 100% of a bill, and then you submitted it to the father's company for payment, as well.
4 :
Not true. Not only is it legal, it's pretty common.
5 :
health-quotes.talk4fun.net - here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.

Health care reform supporters, how will I be able to keep and afford my BlueCross BlueShield insurance

Health care reform supporters, how will I be able to keep and afford my BlueCross BlueShield insurance?
I am employed by a major city, working for an extreme left-wing Democrat mayor who will most definitely opt for Obama-care for the city workers. How can I afford to keep my current health care plan for my family? Will my newborn child suffer because of limited health care? "Dustin", the mayor IS a far, left-wing liberal. It's a fact. Secondly, learn how to spell, moron. It's "their", not "there".

Listen this thing will not hold up in court, do not worry if it passes and it is a big if...Vote Independent. My logic for this is that the political parties are already corrupted and controlled by these lobbyist institutions and with Independents in office it is harder for corporations to control the legislation and the politicians will not be able to hide as well as they do There are no lefties or righties, just Democrat and Republicans, of course those numbers are shrinking. Independents and other parties are slowly gaining, I figure in 10 years there will only be Independents and minority parities
2 :
Trust me, anything is better than BC BS. I used to work for them. The more claims I denied, the higher bonus I received. That is a horrible horrible company. I don't know why you would even think about "trying" to afford your insurance with them, especially if you have other options. I suppose if you wanted to help fund the CEO's next mini mansion you could continue paying there high premiums! Also, if our Universal health care system is as successful as every other developed nations Universal health care system, your newborn child will actually have a better chance at living longer than the children being born under our current system. Currently the US is rated #37 on the World Health Org's list. Every country above us has Universal Health Care. I really don't know why US citizens are so happy to settle for number #37. Its so sad that people are not striving to be the best anymore, and just settling to be one of the worst.
3 :
Why is it that every time a republican mentions a Democrat there always a "far left liberal"? Any who the most common argument I hear from anti health care reform people is "why should I have to pay for people who can't afford there own health care"? So I ask why should I care if you can afford your own healthcare? Sounds like a personal prob to me.

Do you think putting my child on daycare is right at the time when the swine flu gets worse

Do you think putting my child on daycare is right at the time when the swine flu gets worse?
Is putting my child (that is 2yrs. old, No health problems) in a day care the right thing now that the flu season especially with the swine flu getting worse is coming soon. What do you think? Can this affect my son?
Infectious Diseases - 2 Answers
Random Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
1 :
Your child will be exposed to a thousand and one illnesses throughout his life. You can't protect him from everything. Do I think that the approaching flu season and what with swine flu, this can affect your son? I'd be an idiot liar if I said "Oh, of course not!" Come on, be real. Of course it can affect your son! Did you really have to ask? WILL it affect your son? I'd have no way to know with 100% certainty. Any time people gather in close quarters for extended periods of time, there's always an increased likelihood for disease transmission. It goes with the territory. This is an unavoidable fact of life. If it were my son who was 2 years old again, I'd put him in day care and I did just that BEFORE he was 2. But this is a decision that no one can make for you.
2 :
That's for you to answer. All I can do is give food for thought. There are numerous potential problems that could occur, including contaction of the swine flu. Did you check the daycare out to see if you think it's a good place? Have you looked into more than one daycare? Have you considered other options, like sharing responsibility for caring for your son with your husband in the household?

What kind of attorney takes a case for a church childcare over medicating a child

What kind of attorney takes a case for a church childcare over medicating a child?
What kind of attorney takes a case for a church childcare over medicating a child then getting caught lying to the health department- nearly getting shut down? I have consulted a few but they said they don't specialize in that field and they wouldn't know where to send me. UGH!!! Someone help!
Law & Ethics - 3 Answers

1 :
A personal injury attorney might take it. But you have to show there was some kind of significant injury to the child. Otherwise, I don't think any kind of attorney will take it. It depends on how long it went on and how it affected the child. This is NOT a civil rights issue unless it was a form of discrimination.
2 :
There are personal injury attorneys who specifically focus on childcare negligence, including improper medication. That could even fall under a civil rights violation, which would not require physical damages, as the violation of civil rights is damage in and of itself. Forcing medication on a child that doesn't need it and without the parent's consent seems like a huge violation. Search your state's bar directory for attorneys that practice in civil rights (children) or personal injury. You can also search by state & specialty at Martindale Hubbell.
3 :
I think it depends upon what you are trying to do. Are you trying to sue for damages? Was your child injured or did he/she suffer pain or distress? If your child was injured, you need a personal injury attorney. If the fact that the day care forced medication on your child just really makes you furious, but at the end didn't cause more harm than that, I don't know that you have a cause of action. This may be why attorneys are being sort of vague in their refusals to represent you. They have to be careful about saying "you don't have a case," because if it turns out later that the person did have a case, and the person misses a statute of limitations based on that advice, that attorney could be on the hook. I would visit another few personal injury attorneys and ask them some more blunt questions about whether you even have a case. Sorry, I would be furious too, I just don't know what else to tell you.

(in countries where health care is free like in japan is 82.6, in france 80.7 instead in USA only 78.2 years old!!!!) can you explain which are the wrong lifestyle choices of a newborn baby? in the countries where health care is free disease prevention, child vaccination, check up are free for entire population!

Who says that is due to the health care system? Perhaps it's due to the lifestyle choices people make in the US and the freedom they have to make those choices. You conveniently ignore how the US is at the top of the rankings for cancer survival rates. That's something that does in fact reflect medical care quality.
3 :
Nice try but factually incorrect and currently about 60% of America (both Dem and Rep) are opposed to the Obama Care plan as it's written.
4 :
that has nothing to do with healthcare. Nice try.
5 :
Well tell the crack moms to get prenatal care, and tell the obese to cut calories. No amount of health care will fix self abusers.
6 :
No one should be, but I know that is a dream our health care is the best in the world, but when you can"t afford to go to the doctor, the United States just as well be a third world country. There are people that will say that something is better than nothing, What do you think of that.
7 :
Makes you wonder why EVERY Democratic party member in the House of Representatives. Voted against SCHIP - State Children'sns Health Insurance program back when the republicans started the program in 1998 I guess democrats don't really care about children having health insurance, huh ?
8 :
The proposed bill will do nothing to improve the health of the American people. It is about getting more money into the health insurance, drug , and health care businesses.

no, your child support is based on your gross income for the year, which is usually a 1/3 of ya income. if you have it where they take it out of your check, then it goes like this: gross pay, then ya taxes are taken out, then ya child support comes out and most likely u will be forced to have health ins. and that comes out also. what is left after all that becomes your net pay that you take home
